Responding to the two English follies of Perrot’s Tower, Birmingham, and The Temple of British Worthies, Stowe. Molloy has built Master Piper his own folly, a pantheon of living (Bertrand Russell excepting) celebrities in silent debate on our peculiarly British dichotomy - The Royal Republic. Featured worthies, who by position or opinion are implicated in this phenomenon of Doublethink, will attempt to break the deadlock and much like Douglas Adams’ ‘Deep Thought’, this particular machine will, on our behalf attempt to resolve the matter once and for all.
