Munster's paintings and installations, experiment with colour and the painted surface to create a series of works that explore the reaches of representation. He forges a new and subtle vocabulary of forms and references using shapes and silhouettes derived from real life, applying strategies which enable the viewer to access an image by recognizing familiar shapes or colours, connecting him with his own social reference and association.
